Job Posting: Valley Union High School Cleaning Staff
Valley Union High School is seeking two dedicated and reliable cleaning personnel to join our team. We are hiring for one daytime position and one nighttime position. Both roles are critical in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our school environment. Interested candidates should pick up applications with Reyna De La Cruz at the high school office.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
